How to Use the Diff Checker
What is a Diff Checker?
A diff checker compares two pieces of text and highlights the differences between them. It's commonly used by developers to compare code versions, writers to track document changes, and anyone who needs to spot differences between texts.
How to Compare Texts
- Paste original text: Put your original text in the left panel.
- Paste changed text: Put the modified version in the right panel.
- Click Compare: Hit "Find Differences" to see the results.
- Review results: Added text and removed text are highlighted.
Options
- Ignore Whitespace: Treats multiple spaces and tabs as equivalent.
- Ignore Case: Treats uppercase and lowercase letters as the same.
- Swap: Quickly swap the original and changed texts.
Privacy
All text comparison happens directly in your browser. Your data never leaves your device - no server uploads, complete privacy.
